Turing Test! Dr. Nutmeg Interviews Miami Film Lab’s Isabel Custer

Now that ChatGPT and AI have gone mainstream, Dr. Nutz is back at the FACTory with a new fleet of Femmebots and a new season of “Turing Test: A Nightime Talkshow in the Format of a Therapy Session.”

In this episode of Turing Test, Dr. Nutmeg interviews Femmebot 2.203, aka Isabel Custer, a Latina writer, director, producer, composer, and songwriter who has worked in film, television, advertising, and music. Isabel founded and programs the Key Biscayne Film Festival, and she sits on the board of Miami Film Lab.

Q: What do you think of the status of humans in the U.S. in 2023?

This is what I think of the status of women in the U.S. in 2023…I can’t believe there’s no such thing as wage parity. Can we get Geena Davis data on this?

Q: What do you think of the push for more WOMEN working IN TECH and further segmenting us into LATINAS in tech or BLACK GIRLS in tech, et al?

I think women who are leaders — Sheryl Sandberg, America Ferrerra, Eva Longoria, JLo — should also give women who arent there yet a chance to prove themselves …but with a living wage.

Q: Did AI take your job?

Did AI take my job? Well…No AI would never be insane enough to do my job.

Q: What is your job?

I founded and program the Key Biscayne Film Festival, and I sit on the board of Miami Film Lab.

Q: Is CAPITALISM KILLING AMERICA??? (that one was for melodramatic effect)

This country’s sociopolitical fabric was founded on two apparently separate ideas that are actually sparring all the time : the right to believe what you wish (pilgrims) and the right to make moolah at any cost (pioneers).

In the background there were native First Nations peoples who were like seriously, calm down there’s room for everyone —-until thwack! They got obliterated…. So yes when you get rid of the wise, chill people to start off with you’re generally devolving constantly…

As you can see, Femmebot 2.023 EVOLVED throughout this Turing Test interview!
