Email pitching: Timing, syntax and facts are everything.

In our jobs we have a lot of persuading to do. But if you try to persuade too much you sound desperate. No one likes a desperate woman, so why would they respond to a desperate email?

What if you just tease?
What if you don’t need their business like you don’t necessarily need a man but it’s nice to have one around every once in a while?
What if you don’t call them and let them call you?

Now, I know the tone of these suggestions seems riske, but it’s the same advice as “The Rules” by Ellen Fein and Sherrie Schneider.

Could “The Rules” work in sales?
Hmmm.
